Angeli Chawla

Executive Director

Angeli is the Executive Director of the Global Women’s Innovation Network (GlobalWIN), a bipartisan organization that brings together women leaders in business, government, and academia to foster innovation and collaboration. She brings over 13 years of experience on Capitol Hill and in congressional campaigns, with a strong background in operations, fundraising, management, and strategic planning. Angeli began her public service career in the U.S. House office of then-Congressman Gary Peters and went on to serve on his field and fundraising teams through multiple campaign cycles. She later spent nearly a decade in the U.S. Senate office of Senator Gary Peters, where she held a variety of senior staff roles. With a passion for international and diplomatic relations, Angeli took a brief leave in 2018 to serve as an election monitor and volunteer with the U.S. Embassy during Zimbabwe’s historic presidential election. She also led the Senator’s domestic and international diplomatic travel planning during her time in the Senate. A Virginia native, Angeli holds a B.S. in Finance and a B.A. in Japanese from Penn State University.
